It is one of the oldest Polish dramatic theatre, established in 1801. The present neo-classical seat was finished in 1936, after 16 years of construction. The most significant event of Wojciech Boguslawski Theatre are Kalisz Theatre Meetings – one of the oldest festival of performing arts in Poland.
